Aisling Bea

Aisling bea, born in Kildare Ireland on 16 March 1984 is Ireland's richest and most famous comedian. The comedian appeared alongside Stephen Fry on QI. Aisling Cliodhnadh (born 16th March, 1984) is a comedian and actress from Ireland. Bea's professional career started in 2011 as a comedian after appearing in small parts in Irish and British TV series starting in 2009. As early as 2012 she was on sitcoms or sketch comedy. Following her win at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards she began to appear regularly on numerous panel shows for which she was a frequent guest. She was captain of the 8 Out of 10 Cats team from 2016 to 2017 and was regularly a contestant on the spinoff show, 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. She was the child of Brian O'Sullivan, and Helen O'Sullivan. Sinead is her younger sister. In 2012, she was the only woman in history to win the So You Think That You're Funny award. Bea is her name to honor her late father. Aisling Claiodhnadh, born on the 16th of March, 1984 from Kildare, County Kildare. Bea's father Brian, an equine vet, who committed suicide after Bea reached the age of three, was the suicide victim. She was told about his death only at 13 years old. In 2017, Bea wrote an essay for The Guardian about the suicide of her father's family and she adopted the stage name Bea in remembrance of him. Bea along with her younger sister Sinead were taken care of by their maternal grandmother Helen (nee Moloney) a secondary school teacher, jockey trainer, and professional jockey for a time. Their family was passionate about horses and races. In her youth Bea employed as an instructor at the Irish National Stud however she realized at an early age that she was not keen on the sport of racing as a job, and loved performing.
